Dogmersfield, Nr Odiham

Whiterok were appointed to prepare design, planning application, building control submission, full tender and contract administration for a substantial remodel and extension to the property to create a modern family home.

 

The owners had a desire to improve the external aesthetic and reorganise the internal spaces. Although the house in the original state was of a generous size, the accommodation was arranged in an unorthodox layout and comprised a series of small rooms. It was felt that the hall was crampt and the staircase to the first floor was narrow, unbefitting a large property. 

 

The design comprised a large two-storey side extension, part-single/ part-two-storey extension to the rear and porch to the front of the building. A new stair is to be provided with an open gallery landing above.

In 2023, the original Contractor and original consultant team were invited back by the owners to design and build a new garage with annex above.
