Coconut restaurant, Reading

Coconut Bar + Kitchen is a modern asian restaurant in St Marys Butts, Reading. Whiterok were appointed to work alongside the interior designer to secure all necessary statutory consents and provide construction information to the Contractor.

 

Whiterok secured planning permission for a ground floor extension to form a large external dining area with a first floor extension to create additional storage. Further planning consents were granted for new illuminated signage and a new extractor system.

 

Whiterok took the lead-consultant role and liaised closely with the structural engineer, acoustic consultant and mechanical+electrical sub-contractor to provide co-ordinated information to the Contractor.

 

Full Plans Building control approval was secured from the local authority following negotiations.
